It’s that time of year again – GCSE exams are just around the corner! We know how hard you’ve been working, and now it’s nearly time to show what you can do. To help you stay on top of everything, here are the key dates you need to remember:

Exam Dates:
  • Thursday 15th May – GCSE Maths Paper 1 (Non-Calculator).

  • Friday 23rd May – GCSE English Paper 1.

  • Wednesday 4th June – GCSE Maths Paper 2 (Calculator).

  • Friday 6th June – GCSE English Paper 2.

  • Wednesday 11th June – GCSE Maths Paper 3.

We’re sure you want to give your best in every exam, so here are a few quick revision tips to keep you sharp:

Top Revision Tips:
  • Make a Plan: Break your revision into manageable chunks. Focus on one topic at a time and tick them off as you go. It’ll help you stay organised and feel in control.

  • Practice Past Papers: Get familiar with the style of questions you'll face. Set a timer and try working through past papers to build your confidence.

  • Mix It Up: Don’t just read notes – use mind maps, flashcards, and quizzes to make your revision more active (and less boring).

  • Stay Active: Short bursts of exercise like a walk, stretching, or even a quick dance break can boost your concentration levels.

And just as important – don’t forget to look after yourself.

De-Stress Tips:
  • Take Breaks: Your brain needs time to absorb information. Try 45 minutes of study followed by a 10–15 minute break.

  • Sleep Well: Late-night cramming can be tempting, but nothing beats a good night's sleep for keeping your mind fresh.

  • Talk About It: If you're feeling stressed, talk to a friend, family member, or teacher. You're not alone – and sharing how you feel can really help.

  • Stay Positive: It's normal to feel nervous, but remind yourself how much you've already achieved. Believe in your hard work!

We believe in you – and we can't wait to celebrate your success once these exams are done and dusted. You've got this!

Good luck!
