In honour of International Women’s Day, South Bank Colleges Nursery parents had the privilege of attending the third annual Power of a Woman Awards at the elegant De Vere Connaught Rooms in Covent Garden. The prestigious event began with a sophisticated drinks and canapé reception, setting the stage for an unforgettable evening.
A total of 62 phenomenal women of colour were nominated for awards across various categories, each recognised for their outstanding achievements and contributions to their communities. The ceremony was filled with excitement as winners were announced, and the atmosphere buzzed with pride and inspiration.
The night was made even more special with live performances from talented entertainers, captivating the audience with their energy and creativity. The evening also featured a star-studded guest list, with A-list TV legends such as Vanessa Feltz and Rusti Lee in attendance, adding a touch of glamour to the celebration.
For the SBC Nursery parents, the event was not just a chance to witness greatness but also an opportunity to celebrate women who are true trailblazers, breaking barriers and making a difference in their communities. It was a night of empowerment, recognition, and, above all, unity.
We are proud to share in this celebration of women who continue to inspire, lead, and make an impact in the world. South Bank Colleges continues to support and uplift the achievements of women everywhere, and we look forward to celebrating many more moments of strength and resilience in the future.
