In celebration of National Apprenticeship Week, London South Bank Technical College (LSBTC) had the privilege of welcoming Lowri Howells and Esme Potter from CBRE for an insightful talk with our talented engineer apprentices.
The session focused on the three pillars of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance), CBRE’s Net Zero targets, and the crucial role engineers play in advancing sustainability efforts. Lowri and Esme shared valuable insights into how engineering professionals are at the forefront of driving ESG initiatives, helping to create a greener and more sustainable future.
The apprentices engaged in thought-provoking discussions, asking insightful questions that highlighted their enthusiasm and commitment to sustainability in engineering. This interactive exchange demonstrated the growing awareness and responsibility among the next generation of engineers in tackling environmental and social challenges.
A huge thank you to Lowri and Esme for sharing their expertise, and to Bavan Bahra and LSBTC Apprenticeships for facilitating such an inspiring session. We are excited to see how our apprentices continue to innovate and lead the way in ESG-driven engineering.
