All of our courses are fully-accredited by the Council for Awards in Care, Health and Education (CACHE), the UK's leading provider of vocational qualifications for those working in early years education, childcare, and health and social care.
As part of your course, at the right time for you and as an integrated element of your learning, you will have the opportunity to complete one or more of the following qualifications:
Level 1 Award in Interpersonal Skills
Level 1 Award in Mental Health Awareness
Level 1 Award in Digital Skills

Prerequisites
To enrol on an Early Years course at London South Bank Technical College you will need to produce the correct documents required to process your DBS application form. You will not be able to enrol without completing a DBS application.
One proof of ID:
- Passport - any valid and current passport
- Biometric residence permit - UK
- Current driving licence photo card (full or provisional)
- Birth Certificate (issued within 12 months of birth)
Two proofs of address with your name and address (MUST BE DATED WITHIN THE LAST 3 MONTHS)
- Bank or building society statement (documents from two separate banks can be used)
- Utility bills
- Benefit statements
- P60 or P45, council tax statement or mortgage statement (issued within last 12 months)
Please note, we will accept a letter from head teacher or college principal UK - for 16 to 19 year olds in full time education (only taken in exceptional circumstances if other documents cannot be provided)
