Welcoming Princess Arjana Books at SBC Nursery
SBC nursery kicked of Black History Month on the 30th September with a visit from Vivaka Mulero author of the "Princess Arjana" black childrens' book collection.
Vivaka is UK born but resides in Atlanta Georgia USA. She decided to launch her book collection in her home town of London, England.
Princess Arjana - Her World is a peak into the night Princess Arjana was born, her family, and a few twist and turns. Each book is filled with exciting adventures. In the back of the book, you will find the discussion section page, which allows the reader to ask questions, which will help to strengthen communication skills. In addition, each book will leave the reader looking forward to reading the next book in the series.
Good Night princess Arjana - This is the perfect bedtime story or read-along story, interesting and calming, with positive messages.
The children and staff enjoyed this very special visit, they got their special edition books signed, plus the free merchandise she gave to each child, the Princess Arjana doll went down very well... the childrencan't wait until she goes on sale.
Nursery Manager Pamela commented "it is important that children from represented in children's books, so the Princess Arjana book collection is helping close the gap whilst encouraging parents to read with their children".
