“Being rated ‘GOOD’ by Ofsted demonstrates the enormous commitment by staff in raising overall standards of teaching and support for students at Lambeth College. The teams have worked incredibly hard to deliver consistently high standards while raising student ambitions. This is reflected in our improved Ofsted rating. Our focus remains on giving our students the very best opportunities to learn new skills to take them forward in whatever they decide to do – whether to go on to study advanced qualifications, take up apprenticeships or build successful careers.
I am incredibly proud of the positive impact the college has on the lives of our students. The report highlighted that ‘Learners describe Lambeth College as a family, of which they are privileged to be part.’ This sums up our approach to teaching and learning here, every student’s experience is important to us. We are committed to continuing our hard work to give every Lambeth College student new opportunity to learn, develop and succeed.
… This fantastic result comes at a time when we are preparing to open the doors to London South Bank Technical College, our brand-new technical college based in London’s buzzing Zone 1. We are confident that our new offer at our £45-million campus will provide more opportunities to change the lives of many with high-quality provisions and invested staff members.”
