Up to four people can fit inside at one time and once you step inside, it takes around 30 seconds for your eyes to adjust. You should then see a large scale projection of the outside worlds on the walls inside.
Andrew Wiskowski, the Photography lecturer who planned the project, said “the project offers learners the chance to experience real excitement surrounding the physics and mathematics involved in our art form in an immediate way.”
Michael Burkitt who helped construct the camera and teaches Level 2 learners, said “The Level 2 group have only been in College since 8th September so I’m really pleased they built something so ambitious straight away. It’s one thing to explain how one works, it’s another for the learners to build a big one that everyone in the college can use.”
