We are proud to have eight of our students with autism working at the King's College Hospital Trust as part of their internship with DFN Search. For Autism Acceptance Week, we spoke to Glenis who is enrolled on our Entry Level Project Search Internship to find out how it's going.
Glenis designed information posters for King's College Hospital, which were then shared on their Twitter account. Glenis said she was nervous to meet new people at King's but the internship helped her to try different challenges. Glenis would like to be a vlogger when she graduates.
This is a testament to the power of internships, putting yourself in a new environment where you have access to new experiences and new knowledge.
