The centre is already busy with local learners and we are delighted that Chuka Umunna, MP for Streatham officially opened the Centre on Thursday 9 November, where he met, and received a very warm welcome from staff and students.
Lambeth College were provided with the shell and core of the 2,000 m2 building in June 2017 which was built by Bowmer & Kirkland as part of a project with the Department for Education which has also funded the development of the London South Bank University UTC and Trinity Free School.
The College has worked closely with the DfE and the Bowmer & Kirkland team to enable the regeneration of this key site on Brixton Hill.
